After a few days of reflection on our experience at the Cosmoprof North America Las Vegas 2024 (July 23-25), we are full of gratitude for the new opportunities and valuable contacts we were able to make with industry professionals during this important beauty trade fair. Cosmoprof is one of the most important trade fairs for the beauty industry worldwide, attracting trade visitors from various sectors.
Our visit to this renowned trade fair was a significant milestone for us. We were part of a ProChile-Handelsmission, die chilenische Unternehmen auf globalen Märkten unterstützt. Interestingly, we found that the market for natural cosmetics in the USA is still at an early stage of development. How can we capitalize on the opportunities in this emerging market? The limited awareness within the American beauty industry and population for sustainability and natural products presents both challenges and opportunities. At Anakena® – Natural Cosmetics werden wir uns darauf konzentrieren, unsere ECOCERT COSMOS NATURAL zertifizierten Produkte auf dem US-Markt einzuführen, indem wir Partnerschaften mit gleichgesinnten B2B-Partnern eingehen, bei denen die „grüne Community“ und Nischenmarken-Enthusiasten bereits präsent sind.
Wir nahmen an einem Vortrag von „CosmoTalks“ teil, der sich auf die neuen MoCRA-Resolutionen (Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act) der FDA konzentrierte. Unsere umfangreiche Studie zu diesem Thema für den Markteintritt und das, was wir in diesem Vortrag gelernt haben, machte uns auf einen überraschenden Mangel an Regulierung auf dem US-Markt klar, selbst mit der Einführung neuer Gesetze, und wie sich dies auf die Verbraucher von Schönheitsprodukten auswirkt.
Enriched with many new experiences and learnings, we are more determined than ever to expand our presence and introduce our unique Polynesian beauty products to the US market. We are exploring the possibility of participating in the German Pavilion at the Cosmoprof trade show in Miami, Florida in January 2025 to showcase Anakena and make new B2B collaborations.
