Compared to domestic oils such as olive oil, our Monoï oil, which consists mainly of coconut oil, has a higher melting point. It is therefore still solid at room temperature and must be warmed to around 24 °C before use. It is important not to put the bottle in the microwave as this can affect the quality of the oil. Instead, you can simply place the bottle in warm water for a few minutes or near a heater to gently melt the oil. It is sufficient if a small amount of the oil becomes liquid, as Monoï oil is very economical and only a small amount is needed for the application. This allows you to exploit the full potential of the oil without having to liquefy the entire bottle.
Special features of Monoï oil
Each bottle contains a Tiare flower (Gardenia tahitensis), which gives the oil its characteristic fragrance and many nourishing properties. Monoï oil is traditionally produced by macerating these flowers in coconut oil and is known for its moisturizing and protective properties, making it ideal for skin and hair care.
